i love this story!!!

a story that is set in a fantasy that resembles ancient china...

it was veri veri good...

it was initially a light novel then an anime then a manga...

i m still looking for the books!!!

i wanted the last 2 published books!!!

but cant find....

aniway...

it was a story that started in a veri funny way that opens up to other thgs like politics, love, family and lots more... yet it never failed to add humor in as well as touching parts that made tears flow... yet at the same time... it was encouraging...

it started with a legend introducing the country...

where 7 colours are the highest noble clans.

yet as one of the richest red(Hou/Kou) clan direct descendants, Shuurei was struggling to make ends meet...

then Shou taishi, prime minister(or zai xiang) came and offered her money to go into the harem (temp) to help the emperor... who neglects all his work...

then it was discovered that the emperor, Ryuuki, was intelligent but hiding...

then his sad past as well as his fear of loneliness was revealed... as well as his longing for his aniue(brother) Seien the second prince who was exiled to return...

at the same time... a lot a lot of humor was added...haha

then the story went on to reveal a rebellion that was settled quietly as well as the identity of Seien...

then it went on to the second book, where Shurrei was asked by Kouyuu (my fav character he was funny) to enter the palace again as a boy to be a temp officer... in the meantime, Ryuuki with the help of Kouyuu, Shuuei and teh others were trying to pass on the bill to allow women into politics... and Ensei made his appearance...

well b4 all that... i had to point out the super humorous part where Ryuuki in order send his love to Shuurei, send her lots of funny gifts... i love this part... cant stop laughing... lol

3 blocks of super huge ice so she could feel cool in the summer... so huge that it blocked the door to her house n the 3 of them Shuurei, Seiran n Shouka(Shuurei's father) had to climb over the wall w a ladder for few days to enter the house n not oni that it flooded the whole place when it melted...

then still got hard-boiled eggs... so many that they had to kept eating them for all meals for dunno how many days since they were alr cooked n cant be kept n in the end gave out smelly odour as they became bad...

sent a letter daily... w oni one line like it rains n the carps in the pond are happy n using veri expensive papers...

a mountain of red flowers, saying that they were pretty, ignorant of the fact that those flowers are for the dead...

the funniest one was the straw doll... cause Shou taishi the old man told him if u bind the straw with three strands of your hair and danced in front of it at midnight for 3 night(i tink) then ur love will be sent to the girl who receieved the doll... more like curse... n Ryuuki actually did all that... so funny... but the strawdoll is like something that strings the love between the 2 of them...

the story went to talk abt more interesting characters like eigetsu, ryuuren, reshin n many more...

more n more politics esp after Shuurei became an official, more love... how ryuuki always got conned by Shou taishi... saying he's a window? if Shuurei dun want him... more funny scene as Reshin still trying hard to tell Shuurei he's her uncle... more dark pasts abt different ppl... more touching scenes... between families...

a realli good series... strongly recommended...

Shuurei! she's always so cheerful...

the touching scene when Eigetsu did not die and reunite with Kourin n the others... a realli touching scene if u read or watched teh whole thg... haha after that Kourin was so happy that Eigetsu asked her to be w him that she said she dun like boys younger than him... (eigestu was leaa than a yr younger than her)
n then she regretted that quickly n eigestu says he can be 16 for her if she want and Kourin yelled out she loves him quickly, scared Eigetsu might realli tink she did not like him...lol

ryuuki is so cute! haha.. sometimes he's so funny yet sometimes so intelligent...

everything he thinks of other than Shuurei... he was able to plan several steps ahead...

since young he was trapped by abuse of his mother n the other princes (his brothers)...

they beat him up, locked him up in closets or threw him into the dark garden...

but Seien always helped him, freed him, cheered him up...

yet he was exiled... but Ryuuki was lucky, he met Shouka in the Archives, met So Taifu n learned Swordsplay frm the best...

but as an emperor he was destined to be alone... he had friends now... kouyuu n shuuei were always besides him but they too had their own commitments... the Ran n Kou clans...

but he was optimistic! n so intelligent n handsme haha...

then there's Seiran!
