life is...

hey, i dunno why but i just feel sad 2day after watching 绿光森林 when sophie knows that she is going to die. it's juz so sad...

life is like a book.
sometimes it is exciting while sometimes it is boring.
some are touching while others are sad.
they are some which have only facts while others are full of tales.

what kind of life would anyone like?

a exciting book?
one full of adventures? fighting? killing?
well, one can always be the good guy, no matter what.

a romance novel?
well, one with the girl and guy fall in love and face with so many problems?
but hey, at least they live happily ever after.

a science fiction book?
where everyone of your enemies are invanders from other planet?
well, you can always be the hero who killed every one of the aliens?
as well as be the one who befriended the aliens though it never happened in reality.

a fantasy book?
and you can be the prince or princess with your own country to rule.
or you can be a lady knight, fighting for your rights?

well, you can also be a textbook.
your life is full of facts and routines.
well, everything you do will never change.

or you can be one of the non-fiction books
where everything is the same and waiting to be discovered.

boring, you will say for some of the books.
but think again, do you really want to have a life that is full of surprises?
one that is always touching, causing readers to cry?
or do you want one that it is boring and always the same?
one that tears and unexpected events will not happen?

well, life is certainly like a book...
maybe that's why there are things called biographies? :P
what do you think?

on with the"ghost" story

“Hey, are you sure you want to go to the toilet now?” a girl whispered to another girl besides her.
“Yeah, Helen. I need to get the comb I left there this morning. I only bring one. And this is the nearest toilet from the campsite,” the other girl just replied softly.
“But, Anna, the senior just told us of the scary ghost story just now. Then you want to come here? Aren’t you scared?” Helen asked again as she gripped Anna’s hand tightly.
“I know! That’s why I ask you to come with me! Didn’t you just tell the senior that you aren’t afraid of anything?” Anna hissed yet she too was gripping Helen’s hand tightly in fear.
“Well, that was just saying before I look at this place in the dark,” Helen retorted, “look at how dark the place is. We can’t even see clearly, what’s in front of us with the torchlight. We might slam into a wall or tree if we are not careful.”
“Yeah, and the wind is blowing too much,” Anna whispered as they approached the toilet slowly.
“Hey, remembered what the senior says?” Helen asked as they finally reached the door of the toilet.
“Yeah, she says something like on a windy night. There is a girl around our age in her nightdress in the toilet. Only that this girl don’t have a head,” Anna whispered in a trembling voice.
“And the girl is yelling for help, looking for her head,” Helen continued softly, “I’m scared now, Anna.”
“Yeah, me too. But it was just a story right?” Anna gave Helen a smile that says Anna’s very scared.
“Let’s just get that hairbrush and get out of here!” Helen said as she reached out and opened the door.
The girls froze for a minute. Then they let out screams of terror and ran away, yelling incoherent words of “ghost!”
“Wait! Help! The black sweater’s buttons had tangled with my hair and my nightdress’s zip! I can’t see and it covered my head! Help me untangle it!” the “ghost” yelled.
